Our batching plant was purchased from Mexico and it was the first Odisa plant to be sold in Europe. It is capable of producing up to 70m3 of concrete per hour, ranging from foam crete to C40 strengths.

We are the first ready mix company in Scotland to use Bar Chip fibres, which is a structural synthetic fibre to achieve high tensile strength concrete.

The batching plant is fully computerised with all the design requirements stored within, that have been tried and tested over the last 25 years. This can be modified with alternative mix designs at the customer’s request.

We produce all our own sands and aggregates for our batching plant. We have storage capacity for 80 tonnes of cement in two separate silos. At present we use Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC).

Bonnar Ready Mix Concrete also uses the latest filter system, so that no dust particles are released into the atmosphere.
